Christians Story:
In December of 2006, I was 27 years old and had hypertension (145 / 95).  I was unhealthy,
overweight and single.  I weighed 210 pounds at my heaviest and when I saw the photo on the
left after a Christmas party I said "I have got to make a change."  I started up a workout
program that included Mary Ellens's Kickboxing Bootcamp and Rohan's Circuit Pump classes
along with eating sensibly.  In 2008 (as pictured on the right) I now weigh 160 lbs, my blood
pressure is normal (125 / 75) and I am no longer single.  The rigorous class schedule at PPS
helped me become a much happier and healthier person.  I will never let myself go again.
Candy's Story:
I have always had the desire to be healthy and physically fit.  In the past I have had extreme
apprehension about being in a “gym” and would have never thought of utilizing a trainer to help
me achieve my fitness goals.

After receiving a referral from a friend, I went into Power Physique and met John Pena….and
the challenge began.

I am a working mom with two active boys.  My job is stressful, busy and usually has me sitting
behind a computer.   My level of fitness was lacking, to say the least.  My first work out made
me realize how weak and out of shape I really was. It encouraged me to work hard, challenge
my will power and make necessary life changes – body, mind and spirit.   

Using a personal trainer provided variety in the work out and kept it interesting and exiting.  
John knew how to challenge me in a way that would work specifically for me.  I now have the
tools and the knowledge to continue to build my best body ever.

Inspiration shapes who we are and who we can become – Power Physique and having John as
my personal trainer have been sources of inspiration for my success.
Mel's Story
I've been training with John for about 4 years. I started out with the goal of losing weight and
getting back in shape. My life is really active, I have 2 teenage boys. They have also trained with
John. He's great at creating a workout that truly works, whatever stage of life you are in. Now, I
really can't imagine NOT working out here. It keeps me honest! I look forward to my training
with John. Over the years he has altered our workouts so much, I never get bored! And as I've  
reached my personal goals, John has helped me create new ones. To continue working out
throughout my life to stay healthy and fit. It's been a great journey and it is one that I look

Alison's Story:

Before I began working out, I felt sluggish and very heavy! I knew something in my life had to
change and soon. So….I joined the gym thinking that this might be the best place to begin the
journey. I started working out “HARD”. After a few months very little had changed! I was not
seeing the results I had hoped for.

It was not long before I noticed this kick-ass trainer named Maria Limanni Loose. Upon my
request, she became my teacher. I told her I wanted to be “Fit and Ripped!” From then on it
became inevitable. We worked together to help me develop healthier eating habits (a huge-key
component to my success in achieving my goal). We worked out an intelligent effective, cardio
program, which I follow to a tee!

Our workouts consist not only of rigorous strength and power training with weights, kettle-bells
and even my own body weight, but also there is a strong emphasis on balance and flexibility.
Very Smart! I lost over 60 lbs since January and dropped at least 6 or 7 sizes in clothing. All
and all, my life has transformed both physically and spiritually. With that, I pass the love on and
hope that you will be encouraged to become totally fit and as awesome as you can be!
Judy's Story:
Power & Physique Systems gives me a sense of  community from the moment I walk down the
stairs. I have been a member of many gyms, and this is my favorite. The owners and members
give concentrated effort to their goals and encourage me to do the same. I have engaged a
personal trainer, Maria Loose, who has coached me towards my goals with enthusiasm and
persistence. So far I have lost 25 pounds and 21 inches over all. Amazing, I did in six months
what I had tried to do my own with no success for several years. The combination of a caring
gym and excellent trainer have given me the tools I need for health and fitness as I travel the road
from 60 to 70.
